Jacqueline’s Bake Shop Party

So I’m a little behind on the bloggy, per usual and needed to scratch that HAVE to get all of these wonderful party photos up and on the site. First up is the Bake Shop party I had for my daughter’s 5th birthday. To date, this party tops the list of all time favorite projects. I think what made it so fun is two very important elements.
1. The kids had a blast decorating cakes and were so proud of there creations.
2. Everyone stayed very busy with all the fun activities we planned.

The party was held at our house with 15 of  my daughters closest friends.  I moved the table out of our eating area, added two banquet tables and set up the Bake Shop.

I found a great tutorial on how to make the chefs hat over at The First Grade Parade. Very simple and inexpensive, all you need is tissue paper, post board and tape.  The white aprons where purchased at KNG International.  Each apron was personalized with a printable stickers (included in the party package) and my super crafty mom added ruffles for the girls.

Now it was time to decorate. Each guest received there very own cake and 3 tubes of frosting to decorate with. The boys had chocolate, blue and orange while the girls were supplied with pink, purple and orange (by request of the birthday Princess).

Barbie Mermaid Tale Party {Another Happy Customer}

Our printable Barbie Mermaid Tale Inspired Package is one of the top selling collections in the shop right now.  I custom designed the original party for Holly at Paisley Petal Events and the package has been a hit ever since.  These sweet photos came from Darolyn who created the party for her daughter’s 6th birthday.

Malibu Barbie Party {Another Happy Customer}

When I first saw the photos for this amazing Malibu Barbie Party featured on Amy Atlas I literally screamed {thank goodness no one was around, they would have thought I was crazy}.  Holly created this party to celebrate her daughter Madison’s birthday with a “Barbie in a Mermaid Tale” theme party.  She contacted me to customize our Malibu Barbie Party Collection to incorporate all of Madison’s favorite colors lavender, pink, peach and blue.  The dessert table is absolutely stunning – especially the over the top surf board cut outs that Holly and her husband created.

Paisley Petal Events has quickly become one of my favorite site for party inspirations, thank you so much for letting me share this wonderful party.

Cookies & Milk Party

As I was sifting through all the party photos I have yet to post, I realized that I skipped over my sweet nieces third birthday party – I’m such a bad Aunt. I had been wanting to create a cookies & milk party for some time so when my sister-in-law called me with the “Brookie’s Cookies & Milk” idea I was very excited to get started. She did such a good job putting everything together. From the homemade cake that looked like a giant chocolate chip cookie to the personalized aprons and cookie cutters that each kiddie received. The cookies in a jar gave my brother-in-law and sister-in-law quite the headache…but they did turn out delicious.

Lemonade Party {as featured on Amy Atlas}

Excuse me for one second while I jump up and down {and scream}…AMY ATLAS!   I still can’t believe it!!!!  Just a month ago I told my soon to be sister-in-law to start following her site for some wedding ideas beacuse she has the BEST  dessert table inspiration.  And now, my Sassy little girl’s fourth birthday party is featured, crazy. {Excuse all the explination points too, I can’t controll myself!!}  Okay, now that I have gotten that out of my system, on to the party.

Lemonade Stand Birthday

Like only my mini-me could, my daughter picked the theme out last year ~ the day after her third birthday.  I was waiting for her to say Dora or a Princess Party but I got “Mom, next year I want a Lemomlade Party”.  What? Love it!   I had so much fun creating all the printables and putting together the whole event. The photos turned out gorgeous, thanks to my dear friend, Monica at Andary Studio.  I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed planning the party for my sassy little girl.

Lemonade Party Dessert Table

I decided to keep things classic, using the brick on our house for the backdrop , clean white linens and white stands for all the goodies.   I made the cake pops with the help of my two kiddies {they were mainly taste testers} and Bakerella’s fabulous book.  And used our local bakery for the cupcakes.

I wanted the table to focus on the Lemonade theme so I did limited amount of treats.  I had found the plastic pink and yellow jugs and glass containers for adding a pop of color.  I had the glass jars from the jam I was planning on canning last year , and the striped straws came from the wonderful girls at the Bakers Confection.

Lemonade Party Dessert Table

Each “Customer” received his/her own box of party goods, filled with lots of back to school supplies, since her party was the week before school started.

Lemonade Party

I purchased the plain white gable boxes at Oriental Trading and embellished them with striped pattern paper and I used the printable food label on sticker paper as a Thank You Tag.

Lemonade Party Favors

Look at these two best friends, probably my favorite photos from the whole day.

Thank you to everyone who helped me create this amazing party.

Chocolate Factory Party

I’m going to be playing catch up for the next couple of weeks.  Considering it has been about four months since my last post, I have a lot to fill you in on.  First up is my adorable nieces first birthday party (the Chocolate Factory
one I hinted at a while back).

It was so much fun and everything turned out perfect, even the weather.  The only thing I didn’t account for was the fact that it was at a hall, meaning no windows and no beautiful sunshine to captures those photos.  {I should have borrowed a flash}

I created all kinds of goodies for this party and my sister-in-law did an amazing job putting everything together.

Barbie Doll Inspired Birthday Party Theme

I have been fairly busy with custom orders lately and I can’t wait to share all of them.
First up is an adorable Barbie Inspired Birthday theme that I created for a wonderful friend. Her daughter is turning 5 at the end of the month and she is having the local bakery make her the traditional “Barbie in a Cake”.
{Picture from cakes.com }
Barbie and I go way back (well, not that far back since I believe I played with Barbie’s until I was 12…maybe 13). I started with a version of the Barbie face silhouette and added items from there. Originally I was thinking the traditional pink and black, but since it’s spring time my friend suggested adding yellow and other bright colors. Here are some of the items, I am so happy with how it turned out.
The Barbie theme will be available mid April 2011 (right after I finish up the Chocolate Factory theme). However, if you are interested in your own Barbie theme party before then contact me and I can set up a custom listing for you in Etsy.
Thanks for visiting!

Willy Wonka Inspiration: Chocolate Factory Birthday Theme

My favorite sister-in-law and I will be working our little booties off creating an adorable party centered around Charlie & The Chocolate Factory for my Niece’s First Birthday. From the moment she told me her theme idea the wheels started turning; chocolate fountains, candy, Oompa-Loompas’ and a whole lot of other chocolaty goodness!
Here’s a little sneak peak at the invites I created.
This invitation and other Chocolate Factory Themed Birthday Party Printables will be available in my Etsy Shop sometime Mid April 2011. If you are interested in your own Chocolate Factory Printables before then please contact me.
Thanks for visiting my blog and good luck creating your own wonderful parties!

My First Custom Order

I was so excited to receive my first custom order a couple of weeks ago from Claire’s mom Kelli who was looking for adorable printables for her daughters first birthday.  Kelli was interested in a Teddy Bear Theme Birthday Party (Claire’s nickname is Claire Bear).  After sending her a few examples we decided on a color scheme and the perfect little Teddy Bear Invitation.  Once the invitation was finalized, Kelli decided to add matching return labels, cupcake toppers, centerpiece circles, birthday banner, bunting photo banner, thank you tags and I threw in some Hersey kiss bottom stickers as a little thank you for being my first (non-family member) customer.  I can’t wait to see the picture!

If you are interested in hosting your own sweet teddy bear themed birthday soiree head over to our etsy shop for your own printable invitations and party decor.  And as always, if you don’t see something that catches your eye, convo with us for your own custom order.
